Bio

I began my music career in the 1980s in Nashville at many legendary recording studios including Emerald, Sound Stage, Masterfonics, Sixteenth Avenue Sound and the Castle Recording Studios. I developed my craft of producing, recording and mixing by working alongside some of the best and brightest producers, engineers and artists in the business. Over 19 years in Nashville, I worked on several thousand songs and dozens of gold records in styles of Rock, Pop, Reggae, Soul, R&B, Rap, Alternative and Blues including artist such as Ziggy Marley & Melody Makers, Steve Winwood, Indigo Girls, Jewel, , Belly, Quincy Jones, The Sex Pistols, Sublime, Papa Roach, Tenacious D, Usher, Orianthi, Lynard Skynard, Michael McDonald, Whitney Houston, Mark Knopfler, Donna Summers, Outkast, Goodie Mob, Young Buck, Willie Nelson, Baaba Maal, Hank Williams Jr., Rita Marley, Berlin, Dollie Parton, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Vince Gill, Charlie Daniel’s, George Jones, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Garth Brooks, Kenny Rogers, George Strait and many others.

In the 1998, I expanded my skills to also include video, film and writing by helping to create and record the show Sifl-n-Olly for MTV networks. In 2000, I moved to Los Angeles to develop my career in film and television production while still producing music. I’ve contributed to many successful projects including “We Are The Future” (Quincy Jones), “Compassion Rising” (Dalai Lama), “What About Me” (1Giant Leap),“Tom Greene Show”(MTV), “Clone High”(MTV), “Sticky Cook” (Oprah), “Escapes” (NatGeo), Eckhart Tolle/ Deepak Chopra Interviews, Peabody Award winning "Latinos in the Military", feature films- "Guatemay, The Unification of Wisdom", Dalai Lama/ Tashi Lhunpo Project, "White Rose" (Steven Mercurio), "The MUSE Concert" (CSN, Jackson Browne, Doobie Brothers, Jason Mraz, Bonnie Raitt), and many others.

I am certainly accustomed to working with popular celebrities and being part of the creative family. In 2008, a song that I recorded at my private music studio was nominated for a Grammy, I also shot the live video. I also contributed to the Peabody award winning documentary “For my country?” (Telemundo 2). The film I edited, “Compassion Rising” with the Dalai Lama, debuted at the Parliament of Worlds Religions in Australia in 2010.

I have a passion for the entire creative process and a balanced approach in combining the technical and creative sides of a production. My gift is to enhance the feeling within the creation.
