" If you have never heard a CD that has the sound of Third Day to Donnie McClurkin, you must listen to this group. "
HeavenBound has six members and a spiritual Advisor, Pastor Vernon Jones. The members of the group are George and Pamela Blair, Renetta Perry-Waugh, Earline Clark, Eunice Gray.
HeavenBound has been singing together since 1992 when George and Pamela Blair married. Even though HeavenBound has awesome harmonies they seek to move forward with not only music ministry but outreach to others. Their main purpose is to edify Christians, share the love of Christ, and save the lost.
The main lead vocalist George Blair has been the opening artist for the Jackson Southernaires, Gospel Keynotes, Lee Williams, and The Truthettes. 3 Songs on the first CD entitled Look On High have appeared as top 10 picks on several internet radio stations. HeavenBound has sung at private Christian gatherings, the Denver Black Arts Festivals, Juneteenth Celebrations, Earth Day Celebrations, the Colorado Convention Center, street meetings, churches, personal Christian gatherings, Denver’s Temple Buell Theater, Gospel Search of America, and The Colorado Music Summit.
HeavenBound’s style of gospel music ranges from traditional gospel to Contemporary Christian. Since this group spans generations you will find toe tapping quartet along with laid back Christian jazz and finally hand clapping Contemporary Christian Music.
