I graduated from the University of Wolverhampton in 1999 at the height of the internet explosion. Eager to get my pictures online - I unintentionally landed a job as a Trainee Website Designer, which became the gateway to a stable career but also lead to a hiatus for my music photography. Continuing with the burdens of traditional photography until 2005, I brought my first DSLR and began the rejuvenation of my lost ambition, but this came prior to a period of illness and quickly lost all tenor. By the end of 2006 I was running my own website development business and I was in a position to promote my photography, but it wasn't until mid-2008 that I attended a gig with a camera for the first time in around eight years. Asked to photograph local band Mudball - this one shoot renewed my appetite, to combine my passion for music and photography, to capture the moment.

At the start of 2009 my photographic relaunch was supported by Worcester's top quality live music venue The Marrs Bar. This gave me an opportunity to hone my mislaid artistry on a variety of bands, solo artists and comedians, before re-establishing my contributory relationship with the (newly named) Worcester News and beginning a long-term plan for the webzine Live Music Reviewer. Back in the pit for a couple of years I was able to bring my portfolio up-to-date, and in April 2011 - approximately twelve years since my plan to get my photography online, I eventually launched my website! To date, I continue with rock music photography and review writing purely for the love of doing so, but can also offer my services on a professional basis to bands, management, PR, record labels and the music media.
